The horizontal line across the back of the objects indicate the space between the background and the objects, while the lines of the objects help to push them forward by having a clear distinction against the objects at the back.

  1. Hi Wilson, Can you say any more about these painting? What do you notice about the objects and the space. Are there places where the objects seem like space and the peace seem like objects? What can you tell me about the lines between the objects? Are they defining the contour or indicating the space? or both?
