This week we continued to practice line of action.
We first drew it with pencil then we changed to charcoal. We prolonged the pencil and charcoal to feel more fluent when drawing lines.
Also, we turned to draw the figure using cubes and cylinders.

This week homework assignment was to draw some figures using line of action.
This week we started figure drawing with practice of line of action. It was hard to find out the line of action and therefore need a lot of practice. Actually it was quite fun to find those lines of action and it really helps to draw the whole figure.
Homework.
Field trip to Garden by the Bay.
Tree Drawing.
Two points perspective boxes and one point perspective scene.
At first we draw a 2-point perspective scene and a 1-point perspective scene around adm.
Then we drew the scene inside the classroom using dot line while all the chairs and isles were placed casually.
First we did an exercise about using different marks to express different feelings.
Then we learnt about sight sizing. It was hard at first to keep my arm straight all the time. Sometimes I forgot and the size was strange. I had to remind myself all the time about keeping the arm straight and keeping the pencil vertical. Drawing those sticks was tiring but helpful.
After that we drew some still life objects. What is important is to site the angles and scale of the whole systems at first, then draw the details.
