Ops I didn’t think through the bg color and I lost my white lines… Anyways for the nice curves I used the “figure” tool in clip studio paint

retrieve the white lines by setting a clip layer abv it

Oh and I drew the flowers shadings and such with reference

drew and duplicated for the edge of the mirror

Suddenly a lot of eyes appeared. I basically drew a few and duplicated and arranged/erased/filled up the gaps as I felt appropriate

changed the size of the paws and edited some to look like eyes

Hmm..what did i do to get the shadow… I think I duplicated the line layer, inverse selected everything that isnt the bg (ie select the person) and filled that layer as blue..possibly… I can’t really rmb >< Anyways later I erasedd the shadow that isn't in the mirror..

repositioned the shadow and used clip layer to change the colors that might blend into the shadow. Final before adding a bit more pattern on the mirror leaf thing (which will be seen in the final)

Oh hmm.. and I don’t usually use image stability to line the drawing. Just..swift lines to make it clean.. it might be slightly more tedious but the line quality is more..organic? natural? idk I just like it better. When I need to taper the lines I just go over them at places where i want it thicker..

Next. Red for passion and activity!

I saved the eyes layer as a png from the previous drawing, so I just imported it here and again duplicated/erased/edited to it to fit better, and erased everything outside the lines.

When I select the inside of the hands, I wanted a red border “beneath” the white lines as well, so using the magic wand I selected and.. shrinked my selection by..8px i think. so 8px border andI start drawing patterns

Line, color, at this point I realise the red and white look like Singapore flag D<

The decorations, again, draw 1, duplicate, resize, transform..

Actually I explored the nuances in the bg colors for all the compositions, but it’s mostly at the start when I didn’t save the pics.. cause there isnt much… but colors..
