Flos Taccia Lamp by Achille Castiglioni, 1958
The ideas of tilting and concave cover came from Taccia table lamp.
some components are assembled using screws, while others by threading / turning.
on-off button shape is inspired by iphone button.

I went to buy some components which are crucial for the projects.
It goes with blue LED light. I wonder if I can use it as the ‘uv light’.
The fan dimension is 120mm, but the sides extend to 150mm.
So I am planning to remove the rubber sides, and think on way to secure it to the inner body.
After changing the structure, I have to adjust the dimensions as well.
After cad-ing out, I could not decrease the base diameter further. So it is fixed at 160 mm.
Although I can reduce the upper diameter to 100, I think the design will look nicer if the upper diameter is left at 110 mm.
Problems encountered:
So, it’s either I increase the diameter size, or enlarge the cover diameter .
2. The rods and the base of TiO2 bodies are not aligned because of the fan dimension. Existing computer fan sizes are 92, 120, 140 mm diameter. I can’t change the current 120mm fan unless I design my own fan.
So, I decided to align the top parts. I am concerned on the production later on. If I use metal rods, will I be able to produce identical 3 rods.
The snap parts will then be placed only on top parts and have a slot down piece at the bottom?
Holes for nets and ventilation; and the one way flap are not included yet.
