4D Project 3: Sketchy Ladies

While everyone else was off making their million dollar budget fall blockbusters with quality SFX and snazzy camera angles, I was making… this thing.

SKETCHY LADIES.

I also made a short gag reel if you’re interested.

SKETCHY LADIES: THE GAG REEL

The six lines are

  • Would you come to my funeral?
  • I don’t understand.
  • I thought I could die, but I was wrong.
  • So I must find another way to make things right.
  • Who are you?
  • Just someone on a journey – like you.

It took many days and I’m pretty proud of how it turned out, despite its numerous obvious flaws. I’m aware that the tone is all over the place and the audio choices are really bizarre and possibly ill-fitting. But they amuse me, and this is my first time ever doing something like this (not counting that abomination of a stop motion earlier), so I thought I might as well experiment with Premiere Pro. Especially since I didn’t get all that ambitious with the plot or filming. But hey, this was far more fun than I expected. I have to thank my groupmates Celine and Jessabel, as well as non-groupmate Calista, for helping me out with the acting and giving newbie me insights throughout the filming, directing and editing process. Other classmates also gave me tips on how to use editing software, which I’m grateful for. This has been a trip!
