A good water gun is all that is needed for hours of childhood fun. I remember all the fun I had playing with a water gun; whether it was using them to shoot at people or fill it with random liquid.
good the gun is beautifully painted. Now how to paint the background so that it supports this feeling of fun and imagination and a sense of mischievous child? I like the idea that the gun floats. because it’s a gun or experience that set your imagination free. But are there other stronger design ideas that could have pushed your idea? right now the gun looks floating but not moving stable. Could you have made it look moving floating upward through the background? think about it. good work!
