In-Class Assignment: Clock Time

For this in-class exercise, we had to create a 30-second video that expresses clock time. I had two ideas initially. The first one was to walk forward 3 steps, and then backwards 2 steps which would total 5 seconds. Then I would loop that clip 6 times to create 30 seconds.

I chose the second one in the end, which was to flip a newspaper for 15 seconds and then reverse the whole clip to make 30 seconds. I made sure the first frame and the last frame of the 15 second clip was still so that I could reverse the whole clip seamlessly and then end on the same frame as the first frame. This creates a sense that no time has passed within the clip itself as the beginning and end is the same, but in actual fact, 30 seconds of clock time has passed.
