Here is my completed soundscape for the soundless clip.

The sounds used are as follows:

Bell ringing (x3) → babbling brook → ufo taking off → bell ringing (x2) → bongos → balloon popping (x3) → marbles → waterfall → pop! (x9) → reverse bell ring → rooster → john mayer’s new light (guitar riff) → dogs barking 

Through this project, I learnt that I could actually in a way visualise sound. When I watched the soundless clip, I immediately could think about the duration, shape and intensity of the sound with each part even though there was no sound at all. This exercise helped me to realise that sound also has a form even though it is intangible, and when we consider and think about the type of sound we use, and how we use it, it can be a very powerful complement for our visuals, and help make our works more poignant and interesting.
