Black&White Summary

“What the cat awaits is its owner’s love”

Story: As the night falls, along a narrow road, a car is rushing home. Moonlight shone across the room showing a cat facing the window, waiting patiently. Then the car was parked outside a house. A figure started to walk up the stairs, then placing its key into a key hole. When the door creaked open, the cat’s expression changed! Yes, its owner has finally came home to bring comfort and warmth back again.

Black&White Individuals

#1 – Dusk sets in with the crescent moon shining brightly across the sky. Trees at the bottom were reflected by the moonlight.

#2 – A car is moving quickly along a dark narrow alley. White lines along the sides show the speed it is moving at.

#3 – The moonlight shone across the room of a house showing a cat figure sitting rather still, looking out of the window. It seems to be waiting for something.

#4 – Close up shot of the cat’s face with the window sash-bars’ shadow on its face. However, the cat has an emotionless expression.

#5 – The car stopped in front of a house.

#6 – A figure is walking up the stairs. Shadow of the window is cast along the walls.

#7 – A key is reaching into the key hole of a door.

#8 – As the door opens, the cat’s face lit up as it is excited! Lights from the corridor shone into the room showing the shadow of a figure.

#9 – At last, the cat has been waiting for its owner to be back to accompany it. It walks towards the figure and receives pats. The figure and cat are in black as lights from the corridor are shining into the room showing the shape of the door casing which is cast on the ground.
