Deus Sive Natura roughly translates to God is Nature. It is the philosophy that there is no difference between reality and divinity. Taoism aligns with Deus Sive Natura, with the concept of Yin and Yang being one of its central features. Believers viewed fruits such as peaches, plums and cherries as physical embodiments of Yin and Yang duality. These fruits, commonplace to us, yet mythical for others, depict a Garden of Paradise, where God is Nature and Nature is God.
