Week 2.

We were given foam boards on week 1 to create 3D models that show the concept of dominant, sub-dominant and subordinate.

However when we returned on week2, many of our models were rejected. My dominant and sub-dominant pieces were too similar in size and from certain angles we couldn’t tell which piece was the dominant one. My pieces were also same in breath or length and they were not placed using the 1/3 or 2/3 rule.

I started cutting my pieces to create more variations in size and length. Creating more interesting dominant pieces and smaller subordinates.
