This the completed script, English version.
Further edits will be made during the script read with the actors.
I am a bit torn between using an only English vs English&Chinese script. Perhaps, during the script read, I will test and see which one is more natural for the actors.

Scene Analysis
Scene analysis of “Con-fident” Scene 1.
Characters:
Establishing the relationship between Scammer and his Colleague, which clearly shows that Scammer does the bidding of Colleague much to his annoyance. Scammer is a ‘small time ah beng’; all talk but no bite. Whereas Colleague is much older, scarier and higher ranked than Scammer. Colleague likes to take advantage of Scammer and make him do his bidding.
Camera Movement:
The scene opens with a slow dolly in, framing Scammer in the middle. A whip pan introduces Colleague when he catches Scammer watching porn. Following that, the shots cut to and fro between static med and close ups.
And the camera on Scammer will be mostly high angle to show his smallness while Colleague’s will be low angle to show his authority.
Updated Script
Nothing much has been changed. Just that this version has dialogues both in Chinese and Singlish. Co-written by Dylon Goh.
Draft Script
This is a rough draft for my script about a conman getting himself in a situation.
The lines in the final script will be a mix of singlish and some chinese. But this is all in English to get the gist of it first.
New Story
Would like to change my existing idea.
Logline: A phone scammer gets himself in a situation when the number he calls belongs to that of a police inspector.
Plot: A rookie phone scammer needs to secure a tidy amount of money by the end of the day if not his boss is going to give him a rather hard and painful time about it. After a few unsuccessful attempts, he finally gets lucky with his usual tactic of claiming the receiver’s parcel is stuck at customs. However, just as when he thinks he managed to scam the poor man of his money, the man reveals himself to be an officer who has been tracking the call location.
It is a light hearted comedy about what goes around, comes back around.
