Lore 2: Housing in the Bouncy Castle

In the castle, the Pius maintain a large repertoire of dreams, from the first dream that Mea recalls as a child, to the latest dream that she had so far.

The circular castle currently has 80 storeys, each storey containing dreams that happened in one year (eg. 7th storey contains all the dreams that Mea had at the age of 7, so by age 81 there would be 81 storeys). Past dreams which happened are kept behind closed sliding windows, like those of an airplane’s. Pius are able to fit through these windows perfectly. The first three storeys are empty because Mea could not recall any dreams in the first three years of her life.

Other than the sliding windows containing Mea’s previous dreams, each storey also has a special red door, leading to the home of a Dream Technician. Each dream Technician takes care of 4 consecutive storeys of dreams, so the special doors of those 4 storeys all lead to his home, basically just 2 rooms (bedroom & restroom). Lifts and sliding ladders are next to the red doors, which can be used to access all storeys.

TheĀ first storey has one more navy-coloured door, behind it is the large cosy pantry with warm lighting and comfy sofas, where Dream Technicians have their meals and meetings at. Food, utensils, anything. You name it, The pantry has it. Its fridge and cupboards are never empty, because they are filled up automatically in their own. The pantry is their favourite hangout! Also, sometimes feeling bored or stressed from work, they would jump on the bouncy floor at the main foyer to relieve some stress.

The castle has a glass roof. Through the glass roof, you’ll see the the current mood of Mea in the form of the sky. Negative feelings might bring lightning and thunder that risksĀ the complete loss of dreams (which the Dream Technicians fear), but most of the time it’s a clear blue sky with fluffy clouds.

With all these infrastructure, the bouncy castle unexpectedly stands very steadily, although it is becoming old, with some minor defects.
