ASSIGNMENT: Take a photo a nightscape at NTU, paint out the night scene and make a paper cut.

 

Area outside ADM building (Photo)

I catch the moment of the van drove pass to see what effect I can get. I like how the light reflection on the road and you can see that some of the tree leaves are light green due to the lamp post’s light shining.

 

 

Area outside ADM building (Painting)

For the painting, I tried making the tree leaves to have different shades of green to show the lighter colour is the one shine by the light. The reflection light on the road, I use white and yellow painting to blend to form the reflection. I tried to make a difference between the car headlight reflection (whiter) and the lamp post light (yellowish). The shelter and the road are both perception.

 

 

Area outside ADM building (Paper cut)

For paper cut, For object that are nearer to the camera I will use foam to create the protruding effect of it. The lights reflection, I used zig -zag method to portray it and I added white on the car headlight reflection to show the differences. I used fake trees to form the trees and painting most of it to show the different shades of green due to the light.
