Angie is a high school graduate in her mid-20s working for minimum wage at a friend’s restaurant. She is independent, hardworking, loyal, and proud. Her parents died a few years before, leaving her to take care of her small sister, Mel, who has contracted an unspecified terminal disease. She does not like asking for help but has been forced into a position where she has to. In her scene, she tries to borrow some money from her manager to pay for her sister’s upcoming treatment.
