ASTROFLORA Animatic
An alien astronaut lands on a recently deserted Earth. It discovers new and foreign structures, mesmerised and awed by them. It starts growing alien flora all around, slowly transforming the human-made landscape into a hybrid habitat.

– What is your story?
An alien astronaut lands on a recently deserted Earth, he explores and is awed by the environment. Along the way, he remembers his mission to rehabilitate this planet into a place habitable by his kind: through growing and spreading their very own unique natural flora.
– Did it turn out as you hoped?
Partially yes, but there are some parts that are added in out of sudden inspiration along the way.
– What would you do to improve it?
I feel that I could have refined the boards better, along with adding more colours as accurate guides for the feeling and aesthetics the scenes are supposed to portray. Also, being more ambitious and pushing the dynamic shots would be better
– What skills do you need to improve?
Clear, but simple sketches of panels that can show information effectively and easily.
– What are the most significant things you have learned so far?
I’ve learnt that I could combine multiple actions together into 1 panel to save time and effort, which I did after editing my previous boards that had multiple panels showing the same scene into just 1 effective panel.
ADVENTURE
STORY by Rebecca
An adventurer on a journey with a dear feline companion, they stop abruptly and the adventurer opens up a map. Perplexed, the adventurer asks the cat, ‘Is this the only way to do this?’, and the cat pointedly replies with a simple ‘Yes.’ as they stare ahead at their glooming destination.

An alien astronaut lands on a planet and it starts changing the environment, creating a new habitatual world.
CHARACTER
Alien astronaut exploring galaxies to recreate new habitable planets.
POINT OF VIEW
It discovers a deserted human planet, setting foot and starts exploring, awed by the environment. Its main objective: making this its new home. Everything around it grows and transforms into foreign new flora, eventually creating an entirely new unknown ecosystem.
