Pen and colour pencils are the main mediums as they have a harsh difference in the line quality. The pieces usually has a realistic body part ( colour pencil ) and something tangible that isn’t a body part ( pens ).
Mainly used the colour purple because it symbolises warmth, love and nurture. Red used as passion and strong emotions.
