By placing 3 white objects (a mug, paper towel, pot), I was about to come up with 30 quick sketches of different compositions from different angles and positions.

 

All 4 compositions below were draw from different positions, but still similar in some ways.

 

Here, I started to experiment more with each composition looking drastically different.

 

Next, I focus more on close-up views of the still life.

 

Lastly, I started sketching more of aerial views of the still life.

 

 

I then ranked them based on my own opinion of the best and worst compositions.
