woah so colourful ah
For the upcoming project of ‘Ego’, i am tasked to study on the harmony of colours. Honestly speaking, i am just using my intuition half of the time when it comes to colour combinations, like oh ok they look good together, but because i couldn’t now, so let’s study on colours! OH YEAH LET’S GO 😀
I am… red and blue. Very negative way.
I was pretty feeling down recently but i still have to do this HAHA.. So i might see everything negatively. Google is a great friend to have because i do not know what colours to start with so… GOOGLE FTW!!!!
Do you know that colour affects your personality? #funfact But if one has two favourite colours…. i wonder how is this person like then..
Foundation 2D Project 2 – Rhymes
ohhhh yasssssss we are done with the second project
We have three rhymes to choose from – Hey Diddle Diddle, Humpty Dumpty and The Old lady who lived in a shoe.
Instead of choosing a few lines from all three rhymes to make compositions, i decided to explore only on one rhyme, but in a deeper context – The old lady who lived in a shoe, as this rhyme is the most unknown, thus i can find more interpretations towards it.

Elaine just went for her walk – Research

The aim of this project is to explore the different types of lines – straight, curvy, squiggly etc, as well as (maybe for me) to explore the different types of medium that can be used to express such lines. (AND ALSO CONVEY EMOTIONS THROUGH LINES!!!)
I had fun exploring many mediums – paper, liquid, poster colour, pens, markers, colour pencils etc. This project is also my first time exploring water colour.. with many failed attempts hehe
Project 1 – LINES (journal)
This past 5 weeks has been… tough….. It was the start of my art and design journey for the first time in 19 years. I have indeed stepped out of my comfort zone after entering ADM. I guess i was the only one surprised that we had a project immediately during the first day of school (science stream kid here yo)
Then it was the start of me going for a very long walk. At first i was like urghhhhh 18 strips. And when i was done i was like hurrah!!!! And then another 18 to do. And the process goes on and on. And then deciding which size paper to use for my project etc. It was tough but…..
YAY FIRST PROJECT AND PRESENTATION FOR 2D IS OVER SO NOW IT’S DA TIME FOR CELEBRATION!!!!!!! (oh great i dont even understand the poem for the shoe! does anyone even understand…)
Anyway here are some shots of my work (and works of my other classmates theirs are damn cool, i feel so lousy now compared to them haha thanks bell curve ;\)

This word makes me want to dance! It gives me various moods though….. i think it depends on the genre….
