(Disclaimer: This is a visual reference post and I’ll add more when I find more. I will compile all here)
More ideas of what I can do to influence others when they see new colors being mixed around;
These are more to computer work than actual filming. After consulting Ina, she gave me more ideas
- Maya Paint Effects
- Touch Designer
- Real Flow (but thousands of DOLLARS)
(i confess that my computer has too many tabs and that’s why i am compiling this post so I won’t lose track of what i have saw)
Emotion Study, Experimental animation, 9: 27 min, 2010 | Ina Conradi (yay!!)
If i remember correctly, this should be done with Aftereffects and Realflow. Reminds me of my first 2D assignment…
(Realflow looks like maya i can’t..)
SPLASH | Paulo Wang
Cinema4D, RealFlow and Aftereffects.
- Is there a way to just use Maya and Aftereffects to produce the same thing?
- Should I use TouchDesigner to make it interactive?
Hi – the safest is to use Maya Fluids
If I would be u i would start playing with fluids or painteffects. you might not be able to get this very look-but start experimenting and you would get new results
Next Limit RealFlow – you would need to find software online..school used to have it – but nobody was using it.Please ask IT for Animation ( Sam?) if they have software.Real flow has plug in for MAYA – once you do your mesh and fluid simulation in Real Flow- you assign shaders in Maya. I have tutorial and will attach PDF and upload shortly- you can see if that is of interest
TouchDesigner – I will ask mark
there are blobs in TD that you can assign nose..and render real time…but for liquid feel one would need to use shader toy. I will ask Mark
