2. Introduction to Open Source Studio (OSS)

  • Overview of OSS: more than an online learning environment it is a platform to introduce new online learning experiences that build on the social dynamics of the physical classroom to emphasize sharing and  interaction in a virtual community.
  • Online Pedagogy: Ways for faculty to incorporate OSS into their teaching pedagogy and classroom instruction. How assignments, documentation, process, portfolio and critique best take advantage of OSS.
