OSS is finally accessible via NIEwireless!

Great news! CITS has changed their firewall settings to allow ip addresses from NIEwireless to access OSS.

I can finally access OSS from my workstation at the CAVE@NIE.

Hallelujah!

    1. Who could have guessed that CITS blocked NIEwireless users? And I wrongly assumed that NIE was the bad guy, blocking outgoing traffic from the network. The bizarre rivalry between NIE and CITS is still alive and well I see.

I’d love to see the day when NIE users can log in with their network ID to download NTU library e-journals, without an error message claiming we are not authorized to do so, for a true gesamtdatenwerk to exist on the NTU campus.
