Final Piece
The concept of my art piece revolves around the comfort, serenity that a home provides. I have been fortunate to be able to have a safe home, away from fear and danger, and this is represented by the dome that separates the darkness (fear, danger etc) away from my home. The swirly markings made in the sky represent the more cheerful memories that I experienced growing up and also the hope for more good times. The flower garden represents feeling zen and peaceful at home, and a wish to be closer to nature. The path along the flower patches also represents that a home does not need to be a single physical place but is somewhere where I grow, learn and feel the love in life.
