Assignment 2 Research Part II

Hi everybody! hoped you are enjoying your recess week! So, to spice things up for my 2d, I have actually decided to work on another topic which is “Madness”. Madness which basically means crazy, affects your way of thinking and how you see things around you. So for this project, I am working on 6 madness people that is famous and categorising them under Scientist, Actor, Singer, Artist, Entrepreneur and Mathematician. The last one is Me, how I actually see madness as.

  1. Madness from the point of view of Albert Einstein is an Idea
  2. Madness from the point of view of Heath Ledger is The Joker
  3. Madness from the point of view of Lady Gaga is Fashion
  4. Madness from the point of view of Vincent van Gogh is Masterpiece
  5. Madness from the point of view of Steve Jobs is Innovation
  6. Madness from the point of view of Pythagoras is Obsession with Numbers
  7. Madness from the point of view of Me is Love

For Albert Einstein is an Idea because his brain is always filled with ideas. His belief and trust in himself is something that people admire him for. Plus the fact that he came out with E = MC 2.

For The Joker, I hoped everyone have watch the movie “The Dark Knight” and realised how mad this person is during his speech towards Harvey Dent. Part of the speech goes “You know… You know what I’ve noticed? Nobody panics when things go “according to plan.” Even if the plan is horrifying! If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, a gang banger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it’s all “part of the plan.” But when I say that one little old mayor will die, well then everyone loses their minds! Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I’m an agent of chaos. Oh, and you know the thing about chaos? It’s fair!” Which I really agree with!! Hence, shows his craziness.

For Lady Gaga being Indifferent is the fact that she always dress and brings out herself differently from others. One clear example is her fashion sense, when she wore the meat dress in front of the press. Thus, showing how much courage and ambitious this woman is.

For Vincent Van Gogh is masterpiece due to his unique vision and his technique to communicate that unique beautiful vision to the world. His work has been an influence to artists from post-impressionists to abstract expressionists. Another mad fact is that he actually cut off his ear and hand it to a lady named Rachel and asking her to safe keep the object.

For Steve Job is innovation. Steve Jobs wasn’t as engineer or a designer. But he was one of the greatest users of technology of all time, and that made all the difference. His dedication towards Apple products and their advancement in technology shows how mad he can be.

For Pythagoras is his obsession with numbers. I guessed everyone of us knows what exactly what is Pythagoras Theorem, but do you all know the crazy facts about him? He quoted ” Numbers themselves held mystical power.  The whole cosmos was a scale and a number. Each number had its own personality.  Some were feminine, while others were masculine.  Some where beautiful, while others were ugly or even evil.  Justice was the number four.  Marriage was the number five.  (No one can quite figure out why.)  Then number ten, of course, was the very best.  The soul itself was a self-moving number.  It could rise to union with the divine, or it could be reincarnated into an animal.” from this quote, we can exactly tell how mad this person was back then.

Lastly for me, Madness is Love. Reason why is because I feel that when someone is actually in love, he be willing to do crazy things for her. Plus the fact that you will tend to miss the person so much or love her so much without a clear explanation as to why we react that way. Hence, love is madness.
