After researching about the basics of colour theory, I proceeded further by searching up on different mediums that I can utilize to create my panels. I had in mind a few types of medium that I am interested in, namely:
– Embroidery
– Digital Illustration
– Photo Collage
– Illustration w/ watercolour

these mediums that I have considered are largely influenced by the artists that I have been following, and felt that it would be interesting to adapt it into my work.

I studied mainly the line work, and how different stitching will produce different texture.

For digital illustration, I tried to reference how are certain things drawn, and how individual style could be input into a drawing to distinguish one’s illustration from another.

I felt that this medium was very similar to the previous assignment – Forest Gump, but this time it allows me to explore into different colours to better portray my idea.

With regards to illustration and watercolour, I was studying the colour usage and the illustration. How certain colours blends in better with certain style of illustration.
