RESEARCH | PROCESS | FINAL OUTCOME

Overall, I had a whale of a time (pun intended) doing this project!!!

For this assignment, I forced myself to pick up Illustrator to push my designs up to the next level!

I have always loved design and designing, but I usually only did typography on Photoshop and other ordinary design stuff. And learning to use Illustrator was really fun!! I love learning new things 🙂

But of course, with learning comes difficulties. Most difficult of all was that I realised only too late that I didn’t group my elements along the way. So at the end of it all, it was just one big mess :'( and it was so difficult to edit because it was so messy… But I did it!!! YAY

My whole art board was actually a mess HAHAHA

And I learnt that next time I definitely have to group my layers as I go.

All in all, it was so fulfilling to pick up something new again. And was really happy at the free reign we were given in this project! And colours are so much fun!!! 🙂

It’s such a great way to end my 2D journey. I remember from the first 2D assignment I had so much fun playing with ink, to exploring black and white designing in the second assignment.

 

And I already can’t wait for the next 2D project!!!
