Horologist – holds the most power and have to maintain law, peace and order.
Watchmaker – monitor each and every of the citizens
4 Parts of the city – Power source (Where most people work at), The gears train (Transportation of the power), Escapement (Authority) & Oscilla??? (a balancing wheeling that swings back and forth continuously in interval. It is a means to regulate the residents of Joxdes. It will have a ring whenever it hits 24 intervals and people usually starts their day at the tenth rings.)
Questions that I have for myself and about the story
Do I want to add another character?
In what way is the character related to the main?
What are their type?
Do their appearance get affected if they spend the time on stuff? If the time they spend will affect their lifespan? If yes, how so?
What other part of the city are there? The outskirt of the entire place? Is it very modern or all technological stuff based on clockworks and time.
Is there any bad guys in the story? How did they get there? What exactly is that place?
Does everyone has to work? What happens when one person does not start working at the 10th chime?
What is the generally age of the people there? Is there child? If there is what do they do? What happens when the people there give birth? Can they even?
Only Alyssa can hear the gears? What are they?

The people there age but they dont know about it because the watchmaker have no concept of time because the horologist in a sense they capture these people (it will be reveal ltr on what type of place they are trap in) – and also i havent fully describe the special feature in each and everyone of the watchmaker body – they all have some type of inscription on their body embedded by the watchmaker.
Horologist – the one the hold most power and technically they control the watchmaker. the watchmaker is just a term use to name the normal citizen in the world of joxdes. In a sense that are the same type of people becuase they are human . but it will be reveal later on that actually it seem that in this country everything is normal and peaceful and just like any other country (with hierachy like government, authority , citizen, commoners etc ), it is actually not so because the Horologist are doing some sort of very unethical thing to the watchmaker.
In a sense that the horologist are “taking” the watchmaker time by capturing them because the horlogist wanted to achieve things like creating infinity and going against the rules of time. The horologist are in a sense a bunch of “noble” trying to exploit the people they capture and make them into believing and submitting themselves to the horologist. I mention the Professor that Alyssa met right? he is part of the horologist and he is one of them carrying out the experimenting.
Exchanging time for someone lifespan
The horologist knew everything n they are behind everything . the watch maker dont know the concept of time and they have no idea they are “dying” in a sense. Their memories are wipe off when they are capture and they became unaware of their identity and the horologist make them into believing and accepting who they are not living in joxdes.
To reveal the place they are living in – it is actually an interface of a clock, and they are working to continuously keep the “clock” function and moving, which is beneficial for the horologist.
Watchmaker dont give birth because if the horologist need more people they can go and capture more people afterall they needed these people that are old enough to work but not so old (because they need as much “lifespan” from these people as possible) so maybe the youngest would be like 16 / 18 years old.
Horologist is immortal – some of them already manage to achieve it and they are continuing and to let all their own people to achieve immortality
As to what if the watchmaker they are dead from giving all their lifespan to the horologist – some are use for further experiments (maybe humanoid that can continue to contribute their “lifespan” even after they are dead)
The watchmaker as of now have no sort of memories of they life they had before . but Alyssa will be the one that get her memories first because she is havent flashback mainly because she is the only one that were fighting and rebel against the horologist until the very last moment even when she was captured by the horologist
Aidan – is connected to her in the life they had before – therefore the Familiarity she find in him
OC : Girl (Mabel) recently got into the Joxdes
Repetition of the day which gives her the misconception that she has infinite amount of time as she exchanges her time for yesterday to give more today. But she dont remember anything from the previous day. Though to to other people it just looks like she is going crazy.
They try to remove her but she can keep coming back because of her unusual “power”.
What if she is actually a clock herself and a gear inside her is faulty so she keeps going back in time and all. ques xfiles theme song
