This idea is a collaboration between Chris and I.

It involves a play and illusion using the sound/noise level of the surroundings to change certain elements in the landscape shown on the wall.

The project will consist of a plain background (with possibly landscapes). When there are many people around, and the noise level is high, all we would see are the landscapes shown on the wall.
However if the place is silent or quite quiet, there would be little characters slowly emerging out from the landscapes.

If the noise level goes up again, they will immediately withdraw back into their safe zone.

Inspiration

Based on a work by Aparna Rao and Soren Pors, they made panels that has little characters hidden behind them. They move out based on the motors attached behind and react to the surrounding sound.
