I like a lot of things here :’-) but the main 3 would be the opening mechanism (the clock), the way the compartments are compacted into the overall structure and of course the symbol at the back makes it look cool. like osh said, i was thinking the photo would be better on the wall w a mini-frame? so that the drawer can be freed up for another artefact. and maybe the latch that hooks the top box part to the main structure could be something more solid and tight? because it looks loose and i’m scared that if it moved too much that the top would fall off hohohoho

oh and one thing i could try in future is trying more mechanisms because they’re not as complicated to make as i thought and also i’ll try more compact designs in future (if i ever make another box)

Heyo Danielle! Aesthetically i think it fits great with the antique feel that you were going for! For me, this work’s centre piece gave me the best tingles just how acid mentioned above, where the most exciting part is the revelation of time travel clock is turned to reveal the entire box hidden below. really loved how the three parts were split with the additional elements of that scribble of HOWL’s special magic at the back. and i also think too if that top element was somehow more incorporated into the entire cabinet the project would have been good too :”) other than that i think its such a clean design with antique aesthetics :3

I really loved the part on turning back time through anti-clockwise direction, and then unfolds into a flat form the shows the cascading compartments. The add detail to have the symbol carved really brings the character’s traits together. One thing that can be improved would to have the top compartment used as a flip door to reveal the clock to better incorporated the theme of antique clock. But excellent work on the whole project, is really nice!

I really love the concept of your lock and how it really works as a whole! I thought that the box really gives off a old and antique feeling. The use of wood as well as how staining the wood to a darker colour complements so well with your theme. Also the carving at the back really adds to the feel of the box you were trying to show. I thought that it was really an excellent job! Maybe you can consider making different compartments to make it more interesting and give it an element of surprise. I learnt that I can include locks that are really creative and how it blends so well with the box that it does not feel like a lock at all.
