In this technology driven world, I would not even dare to imagine a day without my chosen object. Cliche as it might be, it is my phone as it is really indispensable to me in terms of it’s functionality. I spend the majority of my time in the day doing stuff that involves my phone and it keeps me connected, occupied, entertained and assists me in countless ways in my everyday life. As depicted in my exhibition of photos, it is with me from the time I wake up till the sun sets. It serves many purposes ranging from basic needs such as waking me up in the morning and keeping me in contact with my friends, to secondary but important functions like serving as a camera and editing my photographs.
So the way I chose to approach this assignment is working on the point whereby i choose an object which is of significant value to me and not so much on the emotional “symbolic value” approach. Mainly because I do not feel attached to non-living objects and was unable to find an appropriate object that had symbolic value to me.

So, here goes the photos from the initial stages of the assignments with the comments Prof Vlad gave me with regards to the respective photos which I completely agree and am thankful for. The sequence of photos is supposed to be of chronological order of a typical day of my life.
So yah, hope I did not elaborate too much on this post and hope that this is sufficient. 🙂
