Week 01 – Brainstorming

I came up with three concepts for sharing with the class during the first week.

The design that intrigued me the most was one made by Origata Design Institute called the Fold IN Fold OUT. The folds are very unique, where the overlapping regions can be interchanged creating different compositions.

this project involves the exploration of paper and how through folds and cuts bring life to a flat medium.

a simple card is more than just a card – it  conveys the heartfelt emotions and words  through a palpable medium and as such  there must be the essence of the human  touch; holding the card akin to a handshake.
