Tommy and Jason, you met way back when you both were thrown into the Poor divide. During the journey, you both exchanged your views and goals to take down the Rich.
Jason, you are now going to meet Tommy at a secret location and are 15 minutes away from your destination. However, it was the time of the week that the Rich come to collect the 30 humans. You see the ship approaching and everyone around you frantically scrambling around, running for their lives like how chicks would in a chicken farm, being chased by the farmer.
You have two options:
- Escape as best as you can and meet Tommy
- Stay and help defend against the Rich and take over the ship
Roll 1 dice for strength and 1 for agility, then add the points you get to each attribute. Both should be above 5 which allows for option 2 to be open for consideration.
In any case, both Tommy and and Jason are free to interpret and decide what happens after Jason rolls the dice and determines the outcome option. Use the given information in Lore 1 & 2 to make decisions and judgement based on the goal of meeting with each other and hopefully, devise a plan to hack into the force field.

I choose option 2) rolling a 6 for Strength and 10 for Agility.
Jason, grabs an old dustbin cover and knocks away someone about to be captured by the ship. He allows himself to be captured so as to gain access to the ship.
Inside, he finds only a few individuals. Men who never stepped foot into the side of the poor. Jason grabs the nearest and throws him out of the ship. He does this for all of them and casually takes control of the ship, keeping 1 or 2 Rich individuals wrapped up on board with gags on.
Jason, went straight to the cockpit of the ship after making sure the captive were locked up in position. He stood and paused for a brief moment before moving the joystick. He headed toward Tommy’s place.
When he reached, Jason couldn’t find Tommy. With a huge dilemma on what to do, Jason finally decided that he would park the ship at the underground loading bay just 3km from Tommy’s, big enough to fit the ship. He decided that he should discuss with Tommy on what options are there with the hijacked ship. He didn’t want to compromise the location hide-out any longer, especially with such a huge ship outside the house, so he left a note for Tommy to meet him at 2pm, at the underground loading bay.
Figuring I still have an hour before 2, I grab my three new prisoners from the cockpit and drag them to the nearest interrogation room, calling on Jack to do what he loved the most.
Figuring the new ship could finally become the key to finally bringing down the force field, I search for some Techies and my favorite researcher to see their progress.
I pass by the interrogation room and muffled screams tell me Jack is doing his job well.
Soon I return to the underground loading bay 30 minutes late with my legs upgraded and an awesome new knife along with 2 new people to analyse the ship.
Tommy greets me with a frown which i return with a grin.
I believe the ship could be our key to infiltrating the rich and taking down the force field from inside with a small force.
The two technicians Jason brought along were extremely helpful. They managed to find a way to hack into the system, retrieving anything that was on The Rich’s skyworld. Most importantly, they managed to get the blueprint of The Rich’s terrain. Problem is, the last time this was updated was a year ago. God knows how much changes were made to the city plan and whether there are new checkpoints. The technicians also managed to get the radio frequency that the soldiers were communicating in. Oh and they also found the blueprint to making the ship! How useful!
Meanwhile, Reynolds was informed on this matter and is making his way to the underground loading bay.
You finally met Tommy, he gave you a good old scolding before giving you a hard pat on the back. With a comforting laugh, you told Tommy, “We’ll wait for Reynolds before we decide on a plan but here’s what I have now…”
Jason let Tommy in on his plan to use the 3 prisoners and get them on their side, so it would be easier to get through the force field. They will be pardoned death by sentence if they pledge their allegiance. The mission is to survey the land and update the blueprint of the city. Of course, this will be difficult without the help of the POW. Jason and Tommy would pose as the soldiers and the POW as captives. Only after they cross the field, would the POW be untied.
“There is one problem though, we cannot dock and cannot appear suspicious when we survey the city…” said Jason.
When Jason does not come for the meeting, I sensed that something was off. Since today is the day that the Rich comes to collect the 30 people, I paid a visit to his area to check up on him.
I was right! People were running amok- it was chaos over here. Spotting the airship, I duck out of sight and hide from it. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Jason being taken by the airship, but there is nothing I could do.
Trying to keep calm, I decide to go to a fellow Techie to help me build a weapon to help me on my quest to prevent Jason from getting eaten by the Rich.
[OOC] In this case, Tommy doesn’t know that Jason totally hijacked the shizzles outta that ship.
The Techie made you an Abyssal blade made out of premium aluminium and coated with Abyssal fine rocks. This weapon grants you the ability to be unseen virtually anywhere and in any circumstance. But you have to be holding it for it to work. This blade also allows you to wipe out enemies with slashes even without contact. This is harnessed by the radiation energy harnessed from the force field. So use it carefully, you don’t want to accidentally kill your own people with it. The ways this functions is that it lets out a deadly concentration of radiation in a single plane (from the slash) and the radiation kills the enemy. So, no traces of blood or external injury can be seen. One drawback, only you can use the weapon.
Tommy heads back to his place and saw soldiers loitering nearby. He hid his weapon and stealthily crept to his main door and saw the note Jason left him. He headed immediately to the underground carpark…
Upon seeing Jason’s note I chuckle, half-irked, half-relieved. “What the blazes…” That blasted son of a gun needs no help! Well, more weapons for me then. No harm having a brand spanking new Abyssal blade around. My poor self bet a thousand rich bucks it would come in handy soon.
Walking to the meeting place, I immediately notice the screams along the way. Must be the new POWs. That, and the freshly-hijacked behemoth of a ship. Well-played, Jason.
Inspecting the ship, I’m glad it stays intact enough to be analysed. We might even fix it and reuse it for our own purposes.. Going undercover sounds almost possible right now with this in our possession. There will be a lot of small problems but.. hey, details, right? Researchers’ job. That’s not me anymore.
I climb inside to check the interiors. More damage and evidence of struggle here. Nothing we can’t fix, but it’s only a matter of time until they realize their ship is missing– we will need to work real fast if we’re to do anything useful with this ship.
I hear footsteps outside and step off the ship, ready to give a much-deserved scolding to my missing friend. Oh, and discuss a plan about what to do with the ship. But the scolding still comes first.
When you met Jason, you immediately scolded him. “You could have died dude! What were you thinking? Don’t you want to live to get rid of Gregg and his empire?! Focus on that would you?”
Jason chuckled and said, “This is the perfect opportunity to do so, don’t you see it?”
Jason went on to let you in on his plan. You also told him that you could use the Abyssal Blade, attached at the front of the ship when you’re surveying The Rich’s city to avoid suspicion from them. The plan sounded plausible but you two are still awaiting Reynolds arrival.
Just then, you both hear strong and hasty footsteps echoing the loading bay and a silhouette of a masculine and firm body stride toward where you were standing.
“So, this is their ship?” Reynolds asked with a smirk.
“Jason, I think we both have the same idea. Now, do what you have to do and I’ll arrange for the technicians to work on building the ships immediately and my men ready for battle!” … “oh and good job, Jason! Come back in one piece and one pin of beer is on the house!”, Reynolds shouted as he walked away.
You and Jason looked at each other in the eyes and nodded. You guys proceeded according to Jason’s plan and set off from the loading bay…
