Based on the theme given: Rest & Relax, I wanted to create a space where people can enjoy the clean and fresh air whilst indulging in delicacies by the sunset. It is a space I would personally enjoy as I drew inspiration from places I liked and found architecturally interesting.

Final Project – War PTSD Trigger Device
What is our project about?
Whether in the military or as a civilian, at some point during our lives many of us will experience a traumatic event. Centred around an army utility vest, also known as an Integrated Load Bearing Vest (iLBV), our dark object aims to simulate a war veteran’s PTSD, specifically a grenade explosion trauma, and make the wearer feel stressed, tired, isolated and judged. This project is directed at society and how they have abandoned/forgotten/discriminated or are not aware of these people with disorders.
The participant will engage with the exhibit through a video while wearing a vest which has been fitted with a photocell, a vibration motor & a tablet all linked through an Arduino Nano board. The exhibit works like this.

Map of Sim Lim Square [ZINE]
Brief: [Part 2] With the data collected from research in [Part 1] and further studies and exploration, we are to create a eight page zine.
While the submission piece has to be strictly eight pages and saddle-stitched, we were also allowed to create and present an alternative zine without the creative restrictions.
For this zine project, while I originally planned to work with transparencies and tracing paper to resemble a blue print schematic, I realise that I had too much content for an eight page zine, which would be reduced to 4 pages due to the transparency effect. I then redesign my zine into a map/schematic brochure to work together with the 360 virtual tour.
Sim Lim Square Virtual Tour [Research &Presentation]
Brief: [Part 1] Research, engage and document experiences with a location of our choice present the data in a visually engaging manner.
[Part 2]: View here.
Location: Sim Lim Square
With its fair share of scams, unique history and interesting architecture, I wanted to present the mall in a new light, giving visitors and interested participants another chance to engage with the mall and its stores.
The complicated floor plan and similar looking stores may cause guest to become disoriented hence with the help of the VR tour, guest can navigate through the crowd and clutter.
Method of presentaion: Introduction Video & 360 Virtual Tour
[VR Tour compatible with Google VR Goggles.]
