3D: Case study_ Research on Interesting 3D Object

An interesting 3D object that I find intriguing is my water bottle I got from North Spine in our school campus.

Observations and analysis

Symmetrical – In the front and bottom perspective

Rules of third – The bottle cap is 1/3 of the whole bottle

Materials – Rubber, glass and plastic

Dominant – Is the green parts

Sub – Dominant – Grey rubber handle

Sub -Ordinate – Lighter grey attachment

Void – Helps balance the over powering dominant

  • The handle has a void to make the design more interesting and not so striking.

Length – The rubber handle is the same length as the bottle horizontally

Size – Small to hold in your hand

Design – Rounded to make it look unique, compared to a plastic bottle

  • The cap is nicely design with two triangles which resembles cat ears, making it have a void in-between and make the design not so boring. Compelling the buyer to look at the design there first.
