I just remembered seeing this a long time ago and this reminded me that this was one of the projects that got me interested in interactive technology. I thought that the imagery was extremely apt, and the novel idea was able to gain much attention and response from not only passersby, but also the international community. The marketing strategy is really clever and ahead of its competitions as it was able to introduce the element of interactivity on an ad, boosting the effectiveness by many times.

Not only is action tangibly taken, there is also instant gratification for the participants. This I feel is an excellent example of interactive art used in commercial contexts. They were able to tap into people’s emotions, trigger a response, and they quite clearly make it extremely easy for people to take action.

MOVI KANTI REVO WEBSITE BY CIRQUE DU SOLEIL X GOOGLE CHROME

A unique interactive website that I found! I have never previously thought of using the webcam to navigate a webpage. I think the idea is pretty unique and gives a novel experience to explore the webpage too, instead of the normal, boring scrolling. This goes very well with the identity of Cirque du Soleil as a circus. Fun, playful and a little mysterious too.
