This was what I did during the 2nd lesson of mark making! :-)

Didn’t really experiment alot, but tried to think more towards the emotions that I chose.

Dripping paint downwards!

‘Scratching’ out a white-line pattern onto black paint (could’ve used a thicker paper material!) (Annoyed)

Left/right and Circular motions (Suffering)

Using the sharp edge of the palette knife to create sharp lines, but also smudging the ‘thicker’ paint areas (Suffering)

 

Up/down and Left/right strokes

Using the base of a plastic cup (Uneasiness)

Also tried to start on thinner (although not the exact dimensions) strips to limit and narrow the space I have (for submission!)

(Pride)

Not really satisfied with what I have now so I hope to explore and finalize more marks soon!!!
