You Can’t Ctrl+Z The World

As many of you guys know, Ctrl+Z is an undo button. And the sad thing is, we can’t apply this method in reality.

The desire to erase something and start over runs deep in our lives. We do it in many ways. Sometimes we try to erase a bad memory – or at least render it impotent by attempting to cover it with newer memories.

Will the increasing virtuality of our lives add to this desire to just Ctrl+Z our problems away?

Life does not have an undo button, and because of that, we’re afraid to make mistakes. We’re all fully aware that we can’t undo our own error or mistakes.

Hence, we are very careful and precise with each and every action we make or do. This means that we don’t really take risks or dare to experiment as much as we want. Because, we’re afraid that we might take a wrong turn and screw everything up.

I know it’s hard to lose control of yourself. We tend to overthink about everything, thinking about the outcome, judgement, consequences or if it’s right or not. This – we’re restraining ourselves, being in our own box, and preventing ourselves from unleashing our full potential. Because we’re afraid of  failure, judgements or mistakes.

We need to let go. To experiment, to take risks, be creative, throughout this process, we can learn. Don’t be afraid, that is how we will grow to be better.

Changing, restarting, losing control without the fear of failure, judgement. That is how we evolve, transform and grow.

In conclusion, i want to tell my audience that, it’s ok to make mistakes. Don’t be afraid. Learn to let go, lose control, and be bold.

What if you can Ctrl+Z your life?

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to undo any mistake that you made?

Imagine taking back any slip of the tongue or bad decision. How convenient would that be? Would you undo part of your life if you could?

What would you Ctrl+Z?

Ok the thing is, I’m stuck and I’m not sure on how I’m gonna execute this ctrl+z idea! I’m thinking of using mixed media, like doing embroidery on photos. I might be changing my idea then…
