The symposium dished out fresh perspectives on the experimental possibilities of the third space. I attended Day 1 & 2 where several ground-breaking works were discussed, and ‘what is going on???’ type of live performances were demonstrated.

To create art through destroying, deteriorating the quality of the work to create a new quality that is its enhancement through destruction. Group members are: Reuben, Bryan, Kaiting, Yinghui and me.
Burning the portrait out in the open, we cannot control how the flame travels through the paper or the wind that may put out the flame. We can only choose which corner to start burning from, and the rest is up to nature.

To create a 5 minute collaborative performance on Facebook Live, where two people attempt to create a third body using the split screen.
The final outcome of the work is no longer determined by myself but is affected by the viewers’ votes, who now take the role of collaborative artists rather than spectators.
Internet Breakfast is a cooking show scam broadcasted on a series of Instagram stories where viewers help me cook up the ultimate breakfast with me by voting for what ingredients I should add.
The crowd sourced community are the viewers on Instagram stories. The time-based aspect comes in when each poll is left for a specified window of time, before revealing the outcome in the next story.
To create a cooperative game in which players must work together towards a common goal. There are no media restrictions on the execution or creation of the game.
We get into randomly assigned groups of 3 – 4 people and we take turns to add layers and layers of glitch to a self portrait of ourselves. I chose to photograph my fringe which I thought best represented how people recognised me. (Warning: horror genre up ahead)
